Biochemistry and Molecular Biology
We investigate the structure, dynamics and molecular interactions of various proteins of biomedical interest. Some of our investigators seek to discover new therapeutic molecules through high throughput screens of libraries of synthetic compounds. The molecules discovered this way have applications as antibiotics, antifungal and anticancer therapeutics. Another focus harnesses our strengths in structural biology.
